ΓAIOΣ KAIΣAP Bare head of Caius to right. Rev. ΛΑΟΔΙΚΕΩΝ Eagle standing front, wings spread and head to left, between monograms of ΠΟΛΕ and ΦΙΛΟΠΑΤ. RPC I 2900. SNG Copenhagen 557-558. An absolutely exceptional example, certainly the finest known. Very well centered and with a beautiful portrait, and with a splendid glossy dark patina. Good extremely fine. Estimate: 750 CHF |
